Parcel Lookup
Retrieving ownership, area, coordinates and designation from TKGM systems using province/district/neighbourhood/block/parcel numbers.
Parcel query refers to searching a property's plot (ada/parcel) information through TKGM's official databases — either via block-parcel reference numbers or by clicking on a map. The Turkish Land Registry's parselsorgu.tkgm.gov.tr system and the e-Government-accessible TKGM MEGSİS (Spatial Real Estate System) are the primary sources.
Information accessible via query: the property's province, district, neighborhood, block/parcel numbers, area, land type (land/farm/vineyard etc.), sheet (pafta) number, coordinates and map position. However, ownership information (who owns it) is only visible to the owner themselves or their authorised representative — per Personal Data Protection Law 6698 and Land Registry Regulation art. 100.
Platforms like Drozero integrate this data: the user clicks on the map, sees the parcel boundaries, obtains the block-parcel numbers and accesses planning values like zoning status, KAKS/TAKS. In professional use, authorised institutions can pull data via TKGM's TAKBİS/MEGSİS Web Services APIs.
Important: A parcel query alone is not the same as a title deed — official land records require an application to the Land Registry Directorate. Additionally, the boundaries displayed on the map may not perfectly match physical boundaries on the ground; for certainty, a land survey application (aplikasyon) — physical staking on the ground — is required.
Examples
- 1.A buyer interested in a plot in Kadıköy, İstanbul queries parselsorgu.tkgm.gov.tr with 'Kadıköy-Bostancı-Block 123-Parcel 45' and views the area and zoning map.
- 2.A Drozero user clicks on a parcel on the map and instantly sees the block-parcel, zoning status, KAKS/TAKS, setback distances.
- 3.A real estate agent uses the e-Government 'Parcel Query' service to show their client the parcel sketch.
